Work trip to Eindhoven, The Netherlands allowed us some extra days sight-seeing in Amsterdam and Naarden.

Walking to Naarden Vesting, we passed a small farm with an eclectic gathering of animals.

The waterways around Naarden are all man-made.Used Photoshop to add some contrast to the blow-out sky.

Around the inner Naarden Vesting town is a peaceful path lined with pedestrians, fishermen, and picknickers.

The African Celebration festival was full swing when we visited Naarden. But can you really call it a 'parade' when only 9 people show up?
