View from Tony Roma's entryway.
Through Sacred Valley, toward the Lamay district's villages.
Ollantaytambo station. Next stop Machu Picchu.  (Normally one would take a train from Cusco all the way to the village beneath Machu Picchu. But the recent floods destroyed some train route portions that are not yet repaired.)
Winding return by bus to Cusco after the day at Punacancha.
"Executive Bus" up ahead. (Families who had been on the Hope Projects trip before occupied the smaller bus that often took the lead. Our large family group brought up the rear in a much larger tour bus that you'd never know would even make it up these roads. The repeat visitors didn't like "Old-Timer Bus" as much as "executive." Strange.)
Winding narrow roads yield close passing. (I had a window seat on the bus up into the high Andes villages and at times could not even see ground out the side window. When we could pass another vehicle it was so close I could have licked it were the window open.)
Arrival in Cusco
From Lima to Cusco
From Lima to Cusco (In about one hour we flew from sea level to over 11,000 feet and passed three distinct clines including these snowy mountains.)
