Digital Days Workshop (Dec 2007)
My first attempt at shooting real models or with studio lighting!
I attended the 2nd day of PopPhoto's "Digital Days" workshop, "Intermediate Level." It was actually much more basic than I expected. But the highlight was a live model shoot. For about 45 minutes they had models posing in front of various backdrops and in different outfits. We didn't control the lighting or give the models any direction--too many photographers. But it was still a lot of fun and a great learning experience.
For these pictures I included a few before & after shots. Before are JPEGs straight from the camera. Some afters are semi-basic camera-raw conversions (using Adobe Camera Raw), while some have a few extra adjustments applied in Photoshop.
All pictures taken using the EOS-40D and most with the EF 24-105 L lens.
